This man was expecting two packages. The delivery driver dropped off one but the other got soaked in a downpour. It is their policy if the package is damaged to not deliver it. The man brings up that she dropped off the cheaper package but the more expensive one she refuses to deliver. From what I see, the delivery drivers have no idea what’s in the box and she’s following protocol. If she had delivered it and it was damaged inside, he could still report it delivered as damage, if you were her would you just have given it to him since he wanted it do bad?

@ilySalt @ClosedGuardiola this right here is an example of backlash because being called out on something even if it’s from a small group, it’s still backlash. It’s another way of saying people are not happy with you.

The cops will force the drivers to hand it over because it is legally that person‘s property that person can ask you report it is theft.

While I do think there should be a waiver that can be signed so they can release a damaged package if requested by the customer, the Mail Related Felony I’m assuming you’re referencing here would not apply as any mail or goods delivered by any services other than the USPS is privatized. Now he could report it stolen and then it may become a felony based on the value of the item.
