We simply CANNOT be Cameroon, In shaa Allah!
Kennedy Wandera@KennedyWandera_

Deal done! Cameroon's🇨🇲 President Paul #Biya, 93, now free to handpick his constitutional successor, in case of his death, resignation or incapacity, after parliament voted overwhelmingly Saturday to approve a constitutional amendment to reintroduce the position of vice president. In a ‌joint session of the ruling party-dominated National Assembly and Senate, lawmakers voted 200 to 18 in favour, with four abstentions, to pass the bill. The bill stipulates that the vice president will automatically assume the presidency if President Paul Biya dies, resigns, or becomes incapacitated. Biya has ruled Cameroon since 1982 and is the world's oldest serving head of state. Public discussion about his health is banned. Source: @Reuters.

Good evening everyone , After seeing the genuine feedback from some winners about the jerseys delivered, and everyone opinion on this, I’ve decided to make this right in the simplest way possible. - Firstly, I admit i messed it all up with the first action of picking winners which isn’t in my position but I’ve apologized for that. Once again, to the whole public, I have admitted and corrected my steps. - The 10 jerseys already sent were the lighter Player Version I sourced, but it’s clear they didn’t match what many expected for this giveaway. That’s on me. To fix it completely: option 1: i am willing to send the whole N300k to @_Abdulakeem_ so he can pick any vendor of his choice to get the jerseys for the winners he picked option 2: I am willing to refund the full amount received per jersey (₦20k including delivery) directly to every winner who has received one, - Those who have received it can return the jerseys with delivery fee on me. (I will fund the redelivery back to me) - The winners can then source their choice of jerseys from any vendor of their choice. so the remaining 5 will not be shipped instead, those winners will also get the cash equivalent. Either of the options he picks is cool with me. My goal was to deliver value from our Agba baller osimhen. Since expectations weren’t met according to the winners, the fairest thing is to return the funds so everyone gets exactly what they want. Big thank you to my boss,Victor Osimhen once again for the support ❤️. I appreciate the understanding and will post proof of refunds as they are processed. Let’s close this chapter positively. I don’t want to go back and forth on this anymore. @_Abdulakeem_ please reply with the option you’re picking so I can proceed. Thank you everyone 🙏🏾

For two decades, we have complained about each government, yet conditions keep deteriorating. Look closely. Many of today’s opposition figures are the same people who held power in the administrations we fiercely criticised. This is not change. It is rotation. If outcomes must improve, well-meaning Nigerians must insist on systems that stop the recycling of individuals who switch parties after each election cycle to seek votes. Only strong institutions, not personalities, will break this cycle.

@SirJarus Ribadu lost Lagos, the state of ACN leader. Any other talk of a meger and lack of campaign is just grammar.

ACN did not actively campaign for Ribadu in that election. There was also a collapsed discussion on alliance between BAT/ACN and Buhari/CPC. The merger talk collapsed and everyone went their way. And there were rumours that GEJ flew BAT to Abuja on the eve (?) of that election. There were rumours of deal with GEJ/PDP by BAT. Most importantly, I doubt there was a world in which GEJ was going to lose that election. His popularity was insane. His "I have no shoes" mantra, his name Goodluck and manner of becoming governor and later president, his meek nature etc endeared him to many Nigerians at the time. Buhari even did that well in part because of protest votes/mobilizations from northern politicians/voters who believed GEJ usurped the slot of the north after Yar'adua death. GEJ was going to win Lagos. ACN no too go all out for Ribadu like that. Even my landlord at the time, a diehard Tinubu/ACN politician, voted for GEJ rather than Ribadu, his party's candidate.

@SirJarus How Ribadu lost in Lagos is still a mystery to me.

BREAKING ADC is taking its fight for democracy global. As part of our efforts to strengthen international engagement, we are establishing a Special Representatives Network across key global capitals to engage foreign governments, amplify credible information about Nigeria’s political environment, and counter one-sided government narratives. This comes amid growing attacks on our members, attempts to undermine our leadership, and efforts to restrict political participation ahead of the 2027 General Elections. Our representatives will engage foreign governments, international media, democracy institutions, and the Nigerian diaspora, providing regular briefings on political developments, human rights concerns, and electoral integrity. We are also launching a National Documentation Initiative to systematically track and report incidents affecting political participation across Nigeria. From Washington DC to London, Brussels to Addis Ababa, ADC is building a global platform for accountability. Nigeria’s democracy must be seen, heard, and defended everywhere.
