Lecanemab is approved in the UK for #Alzheimer's disease, following the earlier approval by the FDA. However, the cost will not be covered by insurance. EMA didnt approve Lecanemab. Difficult times for Europeans at risk for AD…but we need to see these drugs in real life setting

The EMA rejected Lecanemab's approval, even though countries like the US and Japan are treating early Alzheimer's with it. Agreed…it’s only one step in the fight against Alzheimer's, but an important one …now only wealthy Europeans can benefit…or you emigrate… Strange...

Die Wissenschaft braucht Rechtssicherheit und ein Gesetz, das Tierwohl in den Mittelpunkt stellt, aber biomedizinischen Fortschritt nicht verhindert. Dieser Gesetzentwurf treibt Deutschland‘s nächste Generation an WissenschaftlerInnen aus dem Lande und aus der Wissenschaft.

Es gibt keine "Kampagne" der Wissenschaft "gegen das Gesetz"! Stattdessen stellt der Artikel klar, dass eine Strafverschärfung gegen die man sich trotz bester Rechtskenntniss nicht schützen kann keine Lösung ist. Gebraucht wird Rechtssicherheit, statt Strafandrohung.
