I don't want to dive too deep into TADC discourse. But it feels like some fans think a character is only complete once we get their whole backstory explained and have a defined start, middle and end perfectly laid out

Jax’s writing on paper is fine ig its just that the show is SO on the nose about how badly they want you to be invested in his backstory more than the other characters who are more interesting. He gets a whole movie for his trauma while the rest get the short end of the stick.
