A huge coalition of Milwaukee organizations is advocating for the State Senate to amend the shared revenue/local sales tax bill to allow Milwaukee County to raise its sales tax by 0.5%, instead of 0.375% in the current bill. Also advocating for Council/Board vote over referendum.
