Friendly reminder that anti-intellectualism is an authoritarian tactic that is used to control a population by robbing people of the tools to understand and solve problems, foster innovation and build up communities. Education gives people power to improve their conditions.

I don’t think people are connecting Chat GPT to the rise in fascism via creating a populace who’ve been propagandized on anti-intellectualism and against critical thinking. The more uneducated a populous is, the more malleable and easily manipulated they are.

took me all day to write 1000 words but once it hit midnight I was magically able to produce 2000 more words in 3 hours…this might have been aided by the fact that i was hearing “how do you write like you’re running out of time” on repeat in my head the whole time
