This past long weekend, I entered and participated in a large, 100+ person mahjong tournament... and got all the way to 4th place! I never thought I'd actually get to 4th. Didn't even think I'd get to 32nd. I'm really proud of how much better I've gotten since I started playing.

I've been reading a lot of Fukumoto manga lately. Kaiji up to and including Part 5, all of Ten, Buraiden Gai, and just started on Yamima no Mamiya. Need to get to Gin to Kin and others, and maybe brace myself to do the manga-only segments of Akagi. It's been fun!
