@halidecamera Hey there. Since upgrading to Halide II and iOS 14 on my iPhone SE (2nd edition) I can’t seem to take raw photos: I consistently get the message “Couldn’t communicate with a helper application” and the image is not saved. JPEGs work fine. Any advice? Thanks.

@Raouligan Looking on Trainline.eu it seems it’s an Intercité from Paris, the fare is €15 and there’s a mandatory €10 reservation for one of the four spaces for a fully assembled bike. Tidy. If you’re taking the Eurostar to Paris that’s a different ball game 😉

@Raouligan Mornin’ 🙂 Yeah, only done it a few times I think: 2008 as a bike and 2010ish and 2015 in a bag. Local/regional trains (RER etc) differ from TGVs. What route are you thinking of?

I’ve always thought that “shitting through the eye of a needle” has connotations of accuracy and finesse that are somewhat at odds with reality. Why do we not use the phrase “firing a jug of Bisto through a basketball hoop”?

If anyone was planning on pointing out that it’s because the two cultural reference points in that metaphor each belong either side of the Atlantic, piss off, I’m ahead of you.
