It gives developers an easy way to set up a wallet for each agent, control how much it can spend, and see every payment it makes on a clear, verifiable record.

Every Maxim Protocol operation is idempotent via a client-supplied key, and each response carries the Solana transaction hash and the protocol used. Retries stay safe, and reconciliation is exact down to the individual payment.

Phase two is production readiness: time-window policies, multi-sig approvals above a set threshold, fleet-wide policy templates, plus webhooks, an audit log API, RBAC, and a full CLI. After that, ecosystem work lands: handlers for ACP, AP2, and AMP as they gain adoption, reference agents, and a public bug bounty once the audit completes. One chain done well, audited before mainnet. That's the plan.

Phase one is underway. The Anchor program is feature complete on devnet for wallet registration, transaction recording, and policy enforcement, and it stays on devnet until an external audit clears. The TypeScript SDK ships first, Python follows in the same phase, and both cover x402 and MPP from day one. The dashboard, showing agent inventory, spend, and policy events, moves to public beta to close phase one.

MPP carries native session support, so high-frequency agents don't renegotiate on every call. Maxim maintains session state per agent and wraps each MPP settlement into a corresponding Solana record, keeping off-chain rails transparent.
