A busy day for our team that went up to the border to rescue the abandoned cats.
26 souls were rescued (including a momma cat and her kittens). Most of the cats were quite bewildered by their abandonment and seemed relieved to be rescued.
They will be taken into quarantine and made comfortable. Tomorrow the vets team will be busy checking each one carefully.
Thank you to those who donated last night to support these cats.

Although my kitchen doesn’t look too bad, on the surface, I had a leak a while ago and it’s beginning to crumble. It’s going to have to be replaced soon, no doubt.
I’m thinking of starting a GoFundMe, has anyone else done this? Is it worthwhile? Any advice would be appreciated.
