@michaelcolhoun Forestry is one of the highest diesel users per 1000 employees, along with fisheries… If the aim is max diesel savings for minimum wage subsidy. ^^ would be awesome to not be in that position, seems to be the way the world is heading.

I don’t understand why the NZ govt doesn’t look to cut forestry & fishing’s diesel supply. No issues if tree’s spend longer in the ground or fish swim in the sea for longer. Vast amount of diesel saved for not much wage subsidy.

@michaelcolhoun All the kiwisaver providers also have managed fund products. You can borrow against those & they are far more liquid.

You also don't pay Rates or Insurance on Kiwisaver, but you do on a house. Kiwis will be far better off moving investments from property to managed funds &/or Kiwisaver.
