February 5, 2025. Trump announces he is going to build a new ballroom at the WH and pay for it with his own money: “It’s going to cost nothing. I will spend the whole thing myself.”

Why shield pesticide makers from the law? The provisions should be removed. If pesticide companies make a good product, they have nothing to worry about. If they make a product that causes harm, then they need to face the consequences JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER COMPANY IN AMERICA.

What an absurd statement. Political violence is NEVER acceptable. PERIOD. What Cole Allen did was reprehensible and we're grateful the President was uninjured. This finger pointing from people like Katie who haven’t just tolerated, but amplified, Trump’s dangerous rhetoric is offensive. The President has openly celebrated the deaths of his political opponents, called Democrats and immigrants "vermin," "demonic" and "evil" "animals" who are "poisoning the blood of our country." He regularly uses violent language, threatens to arrest and jail his political enemies — while describing the attempt to overthrow our democracy on January 6 as a “beautiful thing.” The same folks cheering Trump’s threats don’t get to rewrite the narrative now.

Katie Miller on WHCD suspect: It's no mistake this man hailed from the state of California and that of Gavin Newsom who is one of the worst offenders of this violent political rhetoric that sparks this man's imagination.

If they're willing to storm the Capitol by the thousands, chanting for the death of the Vice President of the United States and Speaker of the House, then pour into the Capitol by the thousands attacking cops and defecating everywhere, imagine what sort of Nazi gives them $250M

Rep. Balint on the Republican push to use taxpayer funds to build the ballroom: We want to pay for bridges and roads. We want to keep Americans safe. What do they want to do? They want to kiss the president’s ass over and over again.

“It’s a war.” That’s what Todd Blanche told the Federalist Society a few months ago while asking lawyers to join the fight against “rogue activist judges” — even as violent threats against judges rise. He’s the last person who should lecture anyone on dangerous rhetoric.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

Blanche: "Many people in this room have done it as well. They're just as guilty as a lot of people on X. When you have reporters, when you have media just being overly critical and calling the president horrible names for no reason and without evidence, it shouldn't surprise us that this type of rhetoric takes place."

If they had actually treated the WHCD like a major security event like they should have he never would have been able to check into the hotel with guns. So they want us to spend millions because the Secret Service didn’t do their job. No. We need healthcare, daycare, food, energy and a million other things before a stupid ballroom for these clowns to watch the fake Village People sing YMCA.
Acyn@Acyn

Lindsey Graham says if The White House had a ballroom, the suspect would’ve never gotten into the WHCD.

The Trump administration cancelled major energy projects across 16 states just because they voted for Kamala Harris and not Trump. Their own lawyers even admitted they targeted blue states. I called Trump’s Energy Secretary out on it. Our states pay taxes and I won’t stand for this kind of garbage.

The dumbest, most dishonest president in American history, Trump, posts FAKE photos comparing the Reflecting Pool under Barack Obama to its appearance under his administration. The problem for the serial lying psychopath is that both photos have the exact same clouds. 😂🤣👇
