This isn’t the message I ever imagined writing, especially heading into senior year. But life has thrown me a curve I didn’t see coming. After much thought and medical advice, in order for me to maximize the longevity of my career, I’ll be undergoing surgery that will sideline me for my senior football season. It’s a tough pill to swallow, football has been more than a game to me. It’s been a brotherhood, a battleground, and a second home. To my teammates: You’ve pushed me to be better every day, and I’ll carry that fire with me through recovery and beyond. I’ll still be there on the sidelines, cheering you on with everything I’ve got. To my coaches: thank you for believing in me, challenging me, and shaping me into the man I’m becoming. Your lessons go far beyond the field. This isn’t goodbye, it’s just a different kind of fight. I’ll be back stronger, and I’ll always be proud to say I was part of something bigger than myself: Denmark Football Psalms 23:4 ”Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me".
