A South African woman was reportedly denied access to water by a foreign national and was subsequently assaulted in front of her children. One of the children was left visibly distressed, crying in fear during the incident. It is alleged that the individual has been restricting access to the water source and demanding payment from community members in order to use it. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Residents of Mahube Valley, today we identified a spaza shop run by foreign nationals that was illegally built on a municipal sewer line. In addition, all trading certificates found on site were fraudulent. We’ve shutdown the spaza shop, and removed all the signage to prevent this shop from operating. The identification of this spaza shop formed part of our #ReASpana service delivery operation. @CityTshwane
Dr Nasiphi Moya@nasiphim

Today, #ReASpana is Mahube Valley, in Mamelodi. Our teams from various departments are scattered across the area for various service delivery teams. We’ve joined the IBEC team for by-law enforcement. This Cash and Carry in Mamelodi, that’s owned by foreign nationals, has a fraudulent Certificate of Acceptability for food premises and a fraudulent fire compliance certificate. In addition, they have no trading licence and this building was built without municipal approval. The owners have damaged municipal infrastructure through an illegal water connection. We have halted business operations, disconnected electricity and water.@CityTshwane

To be honest, the majority of Black leaders in this country lack vision. They believe we owe them support because they look like us. They are not qualified to lead or represent us at all.

Mbalula Slams AfriForum as “Racist” After Julius Malema’s Five-Year Sentence ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula has launched a fierce defence of EFF leader Julius Malema, describing today’s five-year prison sentence handed down to him as “too harsh” and accusing civil rights organisation AfriForum of racism. In a strongly worded post, Mbalula claimed the case forms part of a broader campaign by “the grandchildren of apartheid” to target black leaders who “dare stand up for black people, the marginalised and our generational mission”. Mbalula, who helped install Malema as ANCYL president more than a decade ago, wrote: “When I fought for Julius to succeed me as ANCYL president, we knew that the road ahead was treacherous… This sentence is too harsh and my thoughts are with my brother Julius. Silamulele Peter Mokaba. Silamulele.” The sentence relates to Malema’s actions at an EFF election rally in 2018, where he was filmed firing an assault rifle into the air. He was convicted in October 2025 on charges of unlawful possession and discharge of a firearm in public. AfriForum monitored and supported the private prosecution that led to the case reaching court. Malema was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment for the main count, with a concurrent two-year sentence on a related ammunition charge and fines on lesser counts. He has been granted leave to appeal. The ANC leader’s remarks triggered an immediate backlash online, with critics accusing him of placing politicians above the law. Several users pointed out that the case centred on public safety rather than race, while others defended Mbalula’s stance as solidarity against perceived selective prosecution.

🔴EFF HAS SPENT OVER R50 MILLION DEFENDING MALEMA🔴 Floyd says most EFF people who go to sit behind Malema in court are uncomfortable with what is happening. They are sitting in hard wooden benches for the whole day defending Malema's childish behavior. They are scared to say so. EFF has spent over R50m in this unnecessary case. The money which could have been used to improve the visibility of yhe party and paid off the buses to the 10th EFF anniversary, instead of bankrupting members
