Following @Vol_Softball win over OSU in OKC, I wanted to capture a memory. What I got was priceless. My daughter on the jumbotron! What are the chances?

A sincere thanks to @Fox43Knox for eventually getting all the technical difficulties fixed. We did get to watch the last few innings uninterrupted by news, Family Fued, or TMZ. My daughter and I made it to the end. She's a big Freddie Freeman fan from his days with the @Braves and it was a tremendous blessing for us to watch all this history together. @Dodgers @BlueJays Thank you!

FINAL: Dodgers 6, Blue Jays 5 Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off home run to center field in the 18th inning to end an all-time classic Game 3. Over 6 hours, 39 minutes, Los Angeles and Toronto gave everything you'd want to see from a ballgame. Los Angeles now leads the series, 2-1.

@JeffPassan Our local affiliate @Fox43Knox has left the game to air the late local news. I'm so frustrated!!

There have been 703 games in the 121-year history of the World Series. This is only the fifth to get to the 13th inning.

They really left one of the best baseball games I've ever seen to go to the late local news that appears to just be prerecorded anyway!! Now they really don't know which buttons to push as they've gone to Family Fued. Someone in the control room really doesn't know what they are doing.

Come in Fox 43 be better than that!!

My yearly subscription to MLB TV was over $150, and I'm in the Braves and Reds markets, and every one of their games are blacked out. Don't think it matters how much you pay. I'm a Cubs fan, so it doesn't affect me unless the Cubs play the Braves or the Reds. It also stinks that when I am in Chicago and find myself at a hotel that doesn't carry the Marquee Network in their package and can't get to Wrigley to watch the game, I log on to MLB TV only to find I can't watch the Cubs because I'm now in their market. But, I can watch the Braves or the Reds when in Chicago. It's just ridiculous, and I'm also tired of it. I also miss the days back in the 80s when I was in high school and could watch WGN and TBS on a C-band satellite dish in East Tennessee. Never a problem in those days.

There are blackouts all the time on MLB TV. It drives me crazy. There’s no single subscription that can guarantee you get to watch your favorite team for every game. It’s the number one issue MLB has to fix. Infuriating.

When we got back home from the 2023 Women's College World Series, we attended a reception for @Vol_Softball put on by the @ladyvolbhc and at each table was a player from the team. Our family sat at the table with @CamrynSarvis and to this day every time we see her she makes Leanna's day. It's awesome the inspiration these girls are to young players. Thanks for helping our girl to dream big.
