im not even denying level 5's misogyny problem, it was also really prevalent in yo kai watch i honestly dont know how or why the fantasy life series is the exception. i wont complain though im so glad we got characters like yuelia, laura, rem and carla

edward spent most of the game as a damsel in "distress", ranoah has a laughable lack of screentime for the literal king of mysteria, and most of what we know abt xernes is through carla meanwhile the entire main story is about rem and the entire gino plot is abt carla

its always funny seeing layton fans joke about level 5 hating women as a fantasy life fan it is genuinely so impressive how level 5 managed to sideline all three major male characters in fli (edward, ranoah and xernes) in favor of its two major female characters (rem and carla)

obviously on first glance the new kid looks more like nate but now that I look at him again his facial features feel closer to nathaniel's 2 cowlicks instead of 3, bangs parted into 2 instead of 3 parts, thick eyebrows he's like nate with nathaniel's features kinda
