Louisiana Teacher Accused of Inappropriate Relationship with Student. A 31-year-old former fifth-grade teacher from Teche Elementary School in Louisiana is facing serious legal trouble following her arrest. Marisa Noel was taken into custody on April 13th and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center, according to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office. Investigators say the case kicked off back on January 28th after a complaint came in about Noel having an inappropriate relationship with a former student while she was still teaching. Detectives from the sheriff's office, working with help from the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations, gathered enough information to move forward with charges. Noel now stands accused of four counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and four counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor. Bond hasn't been set yet, and the investigation is still active.
