Rome’s Turtle Fountain. Designed by Giacomo della Porta and sculpted by Taddeo Landini between 1581 and 1588, the Fontana delle Tartarughe is one of the city’s most charming Renaissance fountains.

I saw the trailer for a documentary about the impact of Russian aggression on the environment for the first time. And these images are striking. Because war is always about violence against nature. The Russians have burned our fields and forests, and poisoned the soil, rivers and air. As long as the war continues, it poses a threat to all living things. Luna’s reaction to my appearance on screen is very touching.

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace. Milan Kundera

Frontline regions of Ukraine face thousands of attacks every day. In the latest wave, at least 4 people were killed & 30 injured. In Nikopol, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, FPV drones targeted civilians in the city center – 5 people were wounded, including a 7 y.o. boy. In Sumy, a “double tap” strike targeted emergency responders, who fortunately managed to take cover. Meanwhile, in central regions, Kyiv & Poltava regions, nearly 140 drones struck civilian infrastructure overnight. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. #StopRussianAggression 🎥: @SESU_UA

Every time the farmer left, the cow cried for hours, so he started taking her to the train station with him. In the countryside of Ireland, one farmer noticed that a particular cow became distressed every time he left to pick up supplies by train. His wife could not stand hearing her cry for hours, so one day he decided to bring her with him and leave her waiting at the station instead. Somehow, the cow understood. From that day on, it became their routine. She would patiently wait for him at the station until his train returned, then happily walk back home by his side. It was the kind of loyalty people expect from a dog, not a cow, which is exactly why the story stayed with everyone who saw it.
