Dear freelance car Twitter. Any advice on how to proceed with legal demands for payment from a client? Do I pay a solicitor to write an official demand, or do I go direct to online small claims court? Thankfully I’ve not had to do this before, so debating what the next step is.

Slowed down a bit after that.

I find it funny that I’m old enough to have seen these front wings come back into fashion. The first Caterham I ever drove (K Series Supersport) had them. They generated lift and drag, which is why the trend switched to cycle wings. Can’t help but like the look of them, though

Really enjoyed early morning blats to Goodwood FoS in new Golf R. From Winchester going east, the back roads require swift overtakes or queue forever. Then with DCC in comfort the A34 is a quiet cruise at an almost unbelievable 38 mpg. Jekyll and Hyde car. #GolfR
