To clarify our temporary deactivation:
We were informed by a co-fanbase of a coordinated mass reporting effort scheduled against our account at 12:00 AM KST, which was relayed by an ENGENE. As a precaution, we secured our account. This was a protective measure and not an attempt to avoid any ongoing discussions, because why would we allow our account to be taken down? Of course, we had to protect it.
Regarding the reporting of the Google Drive link:
Our stance remains unchanged. The unauthorized distribution of ENHYPEN’s copyrighted content constitutes copyright infringement. Such actions interfere with official streams, engagement, and the proper support system intended for the artist’s releases. Just because you can’t accept the fact that they are six moving forward.
As a fanbase, protecting these aspects is expected. Reporting infringing content is a legitimate response to uphold the integrity of the artist’s work.
Our actions were directed at addressing the content in question. We do not support harassment or the exposure of personal information. To begin with, the drive literally shows the content owner. That link was spread all throughout YouTube and here on X, so in what part did we “doxx” someone if, in fact, the link was being widely spread, knowing full well they used a school email, the school’s name is present, and they were proudly sharing it on different platforms? For transparency, that link was reported to us, and we were informed it was originally obtained from YouTube and not from here on X.
We will continue to stand firm in protecting ENHYPEN’s work through appropriate measures.
Also, regarding user @.sh1208com, she actually has no affiliation with the fanbase aside from the fact that we commissioned her to work on the videos for the protest truck when the global fanbases arranged one back in March. She also designed JAY’s lamp post banner slot, since our GFX admin isn’t always available, so we had to source ENGENEs who can do it.
Also regarding donation channels used, we are speaking not only for our team but for some teams as well that fanbases normally do not use personal e-wallets and banks, so exercise caution in declaring people who own payment channels.
Again, if we truly intended to leave this fandom, we could have done so during the DARK BLOOD era. But we did not, because we have never stolen anything, not even a single cent, and we are only here in good faith for ENHYPEN.
