You know, people can be offended by literally anything. If you can’t do something because it offends someone, then you have no freedom at all that can’t be taken away at someone else’s whim. Being naked should be a human right, and if it offends you, that’s tough titty.

@Nudenetherlands Hiking naked far enough off into the woods should be no problem, but I would take extreme care about doing so anywhere where one's likely to meet more than a few isolated people. That would likely draw unwanted attention.

If possible i plan to visit Sweden this year. I heard Sweden has a very relaxed attitude towards nudity and no real anti nudity laws so ofcourse i want to go on some naked hikes. Anyone who has experience with naturism or naked hiking in Sweden and the public's reactions to it?

@Nudenetherlands There's no law any more against so-called beastiality, so a man who had sex with a sheep was charged with animal abuse. What Sweden does have is a strong "pretend not to see it unless it's impossible to ignore" attitude. (cont)

@Nudenetherlands I asked a nudist friend who lives in Sweden: I would definitely *not* say that "Sweden has a very relaxed attitude toward nudity" aside from specific contexts like saunas (and not always there). The lack of specifically anti-nudity laws is no protection, either. (cont)

@NaturistVintage I've done the World Naked Bike Ride a couple of times, mostly for the chance to be naked with a bunch of other naked people. It's always been a blast...
