So my brain MRI demonstrated multiple lesions that they considered diagnostic for multiple sclerosis. Starting IV steroids tonight. I'm a little numb right now.

#Tiredness is caused by lack of sleep and can be easily fixed by getting the proper amount of sleep. #Fatigue involves difficulty concentrating, anxiety, decrease in stamina, difficulty sleeping, and increased sensitivity to light. They are two very different things

Why do I keep seeing mental illness advocates and supposed disability "allies" saying that mental illness should be treated like physical illness? Trust me y'all, you do not want that. Instead let's talk about the fact that ALL illness should be taken seriously.

We live in a world where having a chronic illness or disability means you constantly have to prove to someone that is supposed to be helping you that you aren't faking and that you really do need assistance.

Finally stopped living in denial and got myself a shower chair. I don't know why I waited so long (okay, yes I do, it was silly pride)

I had a VERY important doc appt today, I didnt get a call/ text for confirmation yesterday, so I called this morning to confirm my appt... They said, "oh, it was yesterday". (their appt card has the wrong date & time). So... can I come today? Nope, I must wait now until 7th... 🤨
