@Ladyimpulse Sort of like ATLA logic where even if Jaden is bonded with Yubel, Alexis still accepts Jaden as Jaden himself. In the rewrite, Yubel should be supportive, understanding, gentle while still stern, and willing to atone for her crimes.

@Ladyimpulse Which is why in the rewrite, Yubel should gain more screentime, receive character development, apologizing for what she has done, and during the therapy duel, she sees how Alexis helps Jaden, and in the end accepts her for making Jaden smile once again.

@Ladyimpulse Yubel should also be there as well, encouraging Jaden to face his fears and atone. His friends should also help him too, making him forgive himself and love once again. Bonus, Alexis gains her moment and wins the duel and BOOM romance. Happy ending.

@Ladyimpulse Alexis will then confronts Jaden about his behavior after his return and that's when Jaden finally breaks down in anger and tears that he hates himself. Alexis will then kiss him and make him realize that even with his fault, he is still a friend through a therapy duel.
