I literally got a $400 red light ticket after I drove past 15 felonies happening on my street due to the homeless encampment. I can’t afford this.

Yesterday we went to Skid Row. There were people doing drugs, a dog that was killed with laced food, dogs being bred and a woman who was beat with metal pipes for trying to help a litter of puppies...but *I* got a parking ticket.

I talked to my contact at LAPD who told me that he is fearful to tell me who is preventing them from enforcing animal abuse laws. Does that mean civilians should be worried that they might not act when a criminal breaks into homes? Where does the slippery slope end?
