This is a ploy by WH and DHS to disrupt air travel in order to blame Democrats. Think about it rather than just repeat their headlines. Why would the more efficient system which uses fewer agents and gets more people through be shut down? It makes no sense.

No disrespect to Kolko and Franny but leaving MASN and joining MLB for broadcasts was a great chance to revamp the broadcast and usher in a new era instead of simply keeping the status quo. Having MASN 2.0 feels like a bit of a letdown.

News: Dan Kolko will succeed Bob Carpenter doing play-by-play on Nationals broadcasts this year, according to multiple people familiar with the decision. Kolko filled in regularly for Carpenter last year and has been a part of Nats coverage in various roles since 2012.

@chelsea_janes Kolko has been an asset for 13 years. I’ve met him, he’s a genuine, nice guy. Very good at sideline reporting. Truly wish him the best, as I think 99.9% of fans do.
PBP is just not the role for him. He is brutal at it. They could have found many better options from MiLB teams.

As the Post lost its primacy, it dismantled its bundle of news & fun, cutting comics, closing bureaus, killing Sun. mags, etc. but still spiraled down. The NYT went the other way, growing the bundle, and now leads the pack. Cutting sport and foreign is the wrong strategy.

Spare a thought for Minneapolis. The absolute worst choice for Trump's cabal to do their worst. A place NOBODY could believe deserves ugly bullying. Instead a place of earnest, love-thy-neighbor Americans, peaceful until provoked by injustice. They stood up. We're in their debt.
