CTE congratulates the A. Philip Randolph Institute's "Breaking the Chains of Poverty" Program for winning the Outstanding Registered Pre-Apprenticeship Award. DeWitt Walton & Sierra Parm accepted the award @ the PA Apprenticeship & Training Office's 1st Annual Award Ceremony.

With this week's passing of Senate Bill 843, Pennsylvania became the 25th state to guarantee a personal finance course for high school students (starting in the fall of 2026). Pittsburgh Public Schools is fortunate to already be ahead of the mandate!

Dollar Bank Days are Underway through December 14! The Dollar Bank Team makes classroom presentations on budgeting and checking accounts to students currently enrolled in the Personal Finance course, and then sets up bank accounts for interested students.
