here is a quick history of shitcoins to give you some context on why there is always opportunity regardless of bull/bear we already know there were crazy altcoin runs in the 2021 bull, so let's just skip ahead to 2023 the first 3-4 months of 2023 were solid for NFTs, but shitcoins were VERY slow in April of 2023 $PEPE launched and it sparked a memecoin season on ETH there were multiple coins that ran super hard around this time including $PEPE, $WOJAK, $TURBO and a bunch of others in a month, $PEPE went to $1.8 billion marketcap for the rest of the summer there were memecoins like $MOG and $SPX, and then a large influx of telegram trading bot coins and super shitty onchain casino coins (you just had to be there) additionally, ordinals launched in the middle of 2023 so there was also TONS of opportunity in NFTs on Bitcoin... there were runners every day on ETH from April to October of 2023 then things slowed down for 2 months until $WIF and $POPCAT launched in winter of 2023 from this point on, SOL took over and the "trenches" were born in 1Q'24 Pumpfun launched in March 2024 and we had multiple different metas like celebrity coins and culture coins like $PONKE, $BILLY, $MICHI, etc... during 2024, there were a few slow weeks here and there... until AI season came around at the end of 2024 we got the most insane AI season ever with runners every moment of the day AND there were other viral coins like $PNUT, $MOODENG, $CHILLGUY, etc Trump gets elected and then even he launched a coin in 2025 there were multiple metas spread out like ICM, CCM, TikTok coins, BNB season, Bonk launchpad, and another few hundred random coins that pumped yes, there was a month or two when things were super slow so it's not like every single day was mania... you just had to be here for there different pockets of opportunity and be ready when things got hot my point is... since April of 2023 there were probably a total of maybe 6 months when shitcoins were slow that means that in the past 30 months, AT LEAST 24 of them gave daily life changing opportunities with tons of volume there is always another opportunity out there... if you're here I know some people who were here for 2 month in 2023 who quit and missed the whole bull I know some people who showed up during summer of 2024 and missed the whole AI/TikTok season so if you're really trying to make it, it's not about getting rich in one month it's about not worrying if we're in a bull or a bear, and just log in every day and find the opportunities that are out there tons of people on here will just say "we're so dead" or "we're so back"... when in reality it makes no difference as long as you're here long enough and are able to capitalize during a few windows of opportunity if you read this far, I hope this helps... as this is coming from someone who has been here through it all and never gave up

I think a lot of the FUD comes from people who failed to make money. Many people enter NFTs only thinking about profits, but they forget to appreciate the artwork, creativity, and community behind the project. Not every NFT should be judged solely by its floor price Its LOL

Yes, it's all-around usage. Hyperliquid shows how trading can drive massive usage around HyperEVM. However, I would also like to see the edge cases like RWA-backed yields in the way we see them on Solana, Ethereum, and so on. In general, it's strong tech and good infrastructure, but this missing middle layer makes the ecosystem less attractive for consumer purposes. And Aptos positions itself as a general-purpose chain, not a specific-purpose one like Hyperliquid. So at least in how they're positioning themselves, they are supposed to cover these verticals
