The Dancing Nurses fill me with such a rage, and I think I can explain why. It's the last part of Proverbs 12:10 which says, "but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel." I'm pretty sure some (I'd even argue, most) of the doctors and nurses who participated in such disgusting, vile mockery of the world thought they would brighten the days of the people who were locked down. They probably thought that social media users would watch these videos, and be amazed that such tireless healthcare professionals found the time to dance and be lighthearted in a world their comrades and political faves had shut down. Instead, these videos will go down in history as those from entitled, privileged monsters who partied down in empty hospitals while the powers who run this world locked up people for not wearing masks OUTSIDE. Fuck 'em all.

I've almost hit the point where I can't watch anything post 2015. Most the movies I see these days are 12+ years old. Even the movies that were panned by critics are better than the best movies made today. I grew up in that big hole in the middle - the Central Valley of California - which is America's agricultural heartland. The valley is the size of Massachusetts and Connecticut combined. On its north-south axis, you have to drive seven hours on the freeway to cover its full length. It produces 25% of the nation's food supply and 40% of its fruits, nuts, and vegetables. And that's not even all of the state's agricultural production. There are huge areas of highly productive farmland outside the Central Valley - Wine Country and the Salinas Valley, for example.
