Jay Z has too many skeletons in his many closets. Can’t have a son you are actively NOT taking care of. Black workers and creatives you refuse to pay and all the evil you have orchestrated behind the scenes. Drake, take it to hell when that time comes…

There numbers have to be from raps! Not 60% rap and 40% RnB/pop/reggaeton/whatever. And especially when a large anount of that individuals hits are solely pop songs lol. Not negating Drake’s greatness but between making a ton of pop songs and not writing his raps he’s not on par with Jay-Z. The ghostwriter vs the guy using ghostwriters

@YungBagHead @DeshaunFlyy @PopBase I expect some songs to go viral, for her to do feature, public appearances, more music videos and slowly garner attention. It’s a great way to build a strong foundation. Not too different from what Kendrick Lamar did

I don’t think it’s a problem that they’re doing it differently. I didn’t know who she was until today so what. Lead with the music first, then market her. TDE did that with Doechii that alligator bites mixtape (phenomenal btw) dropped in August. I remember telling my boy how good it was. Didn’t hear anyone talk about it for months until Denial Is A River went viral on tik tok. Then an old song from YouTube went and she rereleased it. She was everywhere after that and did a ton of features. Instead of build up hype pre-release they do the marketing afterwards which is smart. I’m sure PGLang will take TDE’s philosophy and do the same

Man says Jay Z is the Triple H of Rap. He cool but y’all gas them both up too much. WWE breakdown, from Biggie, DMX, Eminem, list goes on. We need the wrestling fans to confirm. Anyway, “what was the year they say you had slaps?” 🤔

Drake made - Room For Improvement: Okay Comeback Season: Great (this put me on to him) SFG EP: yes, classic mixtape, easily but didnt even write Best I Ever Had which is insane TML: great songs like Miss Me, Up All Night but considered a step down from SFG EP Take Care: Bonafide classic NWTS: His best album (classic) but depressing to see multiple reference tracks for this IFRTITL: My favorite overall project from him - sadly you can find a reference for over half the songs on the album from QM to PND Views: Huge album but absolutely not a classic More Life: Fire, but where he officially lost himself and his Toronto sound and "Ran to Atlanta" Scorpion: Like you said bloated but some great songs CLB: Dogshit - unmotivated and shell of his former albums Her Loss: Same thing plus cosplaying with 21 FATD: Asscheeks Iceman: A true return to form. Great album, rejuvenated motivation. Some songs are misses, spends alot of time whining and coping but that is understandable. Better than anything since More Life easily Summary: Drake has an extensive catalogue with tons of hits. Not a S-tier lyricist by any means but his genre-bending abilities make for some interesting rap and RNB hybrid albums. He will never be named among the Eminems, Jay-Zs or even Kendrick in rap circles but lives in the same space as Kanye West. (Both questionable pens, incredible curators). Also a bonafide superstar who gets both his haters and glazers to tune in every single time

If you needed another reason why Drake is better than Kendrick Lamar, let’s talk about all the hit songs he wrote for other artists. Unthinkable - Alicia Keys 6th Sense - Kodak Black Yikes - Kanye West 30 Hours - Kanye West Facts - Kanye West I’m Single - Lil Wayne Mine - Beyoncé Not Nice - PARTYNEXTDOOR Fall For Your Type - Jamie Foxx I Been That Girl - Melanie Fiona R.I.P. - Rita Ora & Tinie Tempah Now what songs has Kendrick written for anybody that was this successful? If he’s written any? When it comes to rap, Drake will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time. The only reason we’re not calling him the GOAT yet is because we still hold the classic artists in such high regard. But in another ten years? We’re gonna have to say Drake is the greatest of all time.

I Got Nothin But Respect For HOV & Drake Is My Favorite Artist 💯 But This Is Why I DONT WANT THEM To Battle Because It’s Just Gon Be A Repeat Of 2024 Where One Guy Doesn’t Have To Answer To ANYTHING Said About Him, But Drake Has To Answer To Everything Said About Him 🙄 Keep It

They're saying Jay-Z stuttered on purpose and copied Nicki's hand gestures to mock the night she forgot her lyrics on stage. So this is what we celebrate now? A billionaire studying a woman's worst moment just to mimic it for a laugh. That's not a king. That's a man who's bothered. Let's be honest about what we're actually watching.

Drake haters: Drake got called a pedo on a world stage at the superbowl he’ll never recover from this funeral. Drake in 2026: Number 1 song in the country, Number 1 album in the country, 43 percent of the hot 100 billboard, and 40 percent of the songs of the summer. Some funeral.

Even on his new shit like Janice STFU sonically, I like whisper my name, plot twist. The make them records (although I hate seeing the cope he deserves to get it off). But cmon man this mfer ain’t the goat of shit because algorithms and his career would be better off if ppl didn’t gas him up to think he can hang with big dawgs. Yeah jay z and 50 did that numbers talk. They also made the blueprint and get rich or die trying lol.

That is true he is. But if you noticed in hip hop culture that simply doesn’t mean shit, like I said I love a lot of his songs even his big hits. But when you’re number 1 hits are One Dance, Slime you out etc that don’t put you in that upper echelon category just bc it’s accessible to white suburban moms more than Hard knock life lol

1) I grew up with Drake I like his older stuff and a bunch on iceman. I remember the day he dropped so far gone ep. 2) I don’t think he’s a great rapper I think he’s a song writer. I mean look at his list of songs he’s written he’s not Jay-Z writing Still Dre. This is what I truly think. He gave up making classic rap albums after NWTS and maximized his output on gigantic singles to become as commercially viable as possible, and succeeded. He is a product heavily backed by the industry, always was, and isn’t afraid to break the mold of traditional rap by remaining in its confines. For example, before him no rapper would ever release Find Your Love. Kanye wrote and produced the track for him, he released it. Would Jadakiss or Pusha t do that? No. He’s a major crossover act, but to put him in the same breath as guys like Jay Z imo is disrespectful.
