I wish there was an "unmute all" button. I've muted 74,000 and am clicking unmute one by one.

the closer you reach to a niche the smaller the group of people who understand the niche.
finding some of the <100 people who understand that niche is tedious but critical. you can’t just google it anymore. you have to get good enough to find them.

fact being I joined Twitter since it has the whole AI community in it. But I prefer platforms like mastodon/fediverse over this monopoly jail muskian platform. Simply had to join x as no critical mass elsewhere

For me Twitter is productive as I kinda use it as a public diary to streamline thoughts and I enjoy spaces for networking 🤗

i would argue YES. here is why. you might scroll here and there and post throughout the day in breaks, but X provides a community you can choose. choosing to surround yourself with people with great ideas who build motivates you to build bigger. instead of comparing yourself to your immediate environment, which is a smaller motivator than this one.
ive become more productive and original since joining this website. and i started posting around a year ago.
