Physical media is dying and I HATE it
Everything being digital and not actually OWNING what you pay for is absolute BS.
- Consoles being sold without disc drives
- PCโs donโt have Disc drives anymore
- Games and movies not getting Physical releases
We are sacrificing physical art for the sake of a little connivence and it feels like only a very small group of people care.

I keep getting questions about this. Here is my rec for hierarchy of masks for wildfires (worst to best)
--> N95
--> N100
--> P100 (the P designation means resistant to oil)
--> P100+organic vapor (all the prior ones only capture particles, not gas-phase toxics. If you're frontline reporter/responder, this is what you should be wearing)

Reminder that N95s are great for capturing particles but do not capture gas-phase toxics in wildfires (and urban wildfires have higher toxicity.) Grateful for this reporter's efforts - not trying to make an example - but just wish workers in harms way are given appropriate PPE. (also - get out of there and be safe)

Personally, I read a bunch of classics in high register in college. I guess it was fun. I recently ChatGPT'd Aristotle into readable English, finished it around 5x as fast as a translation, and felt I got the main gist of things. idk does the pain incurred actually teach much?
