It is exactly a month ago since I went freelance so I wanted to have a little look back and offer some thanks. In the last 30 days The Will Hayward Newsletter has gone from zero to 1,800 subscribers and revenues now exceed my previous one which I ran for 11 months. My journalism on the newsletter has been viewed 19k in a month and it now has a regular sponsor (you can sign up for the newsletter in my pinned tweet). I have had over 1.3m social media impressions and 82k video views. The third episode of my podcast, which I have launched with some very talented pals, is about to be released and we have some great guests planned. My first Guardian column was also published and was the splash for their Journal supplement. Obviously it is very early days but it has been a decent start (if nerve wracking) with some more projects coming down the line. There is clearly a desire for more coverage of Wales (both in Cymru and beyond) and I am glad I took the punt.
