The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. What are you building today? I built this interactive globe because I couldn't find a simple way to achieve a visually rich globe experience in @maplibre. It features optical simulation and animated depth, all without using a 3D engine. #buildinpublic

Static maps endpoint is live as of today. And because dialing in the right zoom and framing by hand is a pain, there's now a visual builder in the dashboard. Design the image how you want it and grab the url or the SDK code

@TrickedDev Well, we just started and Mapbox is a company valued at a billion dollars. I think our map tiles are as good and the geocoding and routing good enough to make the switch. And privacy-wise we actually beat them.
