Manchester United fans unveiled a pro-immigration banner during Sunday’s fixture against Crystal Palace in response to comments from minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The banner was displayed by supporters in the corner over the tunnel at Old Trafford before the second half of the Premier League match kicked off.
It read: “MUFC proudly colonised by immigrants” and pictured seven international players who have represented the club: France’s Eric Cantona and Patrice Evra, Park Ji-sung of South Korea, Portugal’s Bruno Fernandes, Norway’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Amad of the Ivory Coast and Brazil’s Casemiro.
In February, Ratcliffe said in an interview with Sky he believed the United Kingdom has been “colonised by immigrants”.

The Glazers first night as owners 20 years ago.
I remember this night well, I wasn’t there but I was as livid as these lads were.
I knew the Glazers had the potential to ruin the club and it’s actually worse than I thought it would be. It’s been death by a thousand cuts reds, 20 years of asset stripping and decay.
Get out of our club you parasites
Gotta give credit, where credit is due.
Jalen Hurts beat one of the best QB’s of all time head to head & it wasn’t even close.
Congrats to Jalen on SB MVP….Full 20 min breakdown video coming tomorrow.
I’ve never seen a half of passing like that in my life. Is the manager to blame for 11 players not being able to complete a 5 yard pass? Tuck in and take the medicine. #mufc
How would you grade Denis Irwin as a #MUFC player?
𝐀+ Our best ever in his position
𝐀 - World-class
𝐁 - Excellent
𝐂 - Good
𝐃 - Decent
𝐄 - Erratic
𝐅 - Flop
There was a lot of love for Gary Neville in yesterday's vote. A for Nev.
