My friend I mentioned a few days ago, the one who was hospitalized passed away this morning due to asphyxiation after overdosing on laughing gas.

Yesterday evening I was at my friend’s place. Just a normal hangout music playing low, random conversations, the kind of night that doesn’t feel important at the time. At some point he brought out those little canisters of laughing gas. I watched him release some gas into a balloon, inhale it, and burst out laughing like it was nothing. Like it was just another harmless way to pass time. I told him to slow down. I even mentioned some of the side effects I had read about nerve damage, memory problems, and the risk of your body literally losing the ability to function properly.
