Just heard about a friend of my in laws who’s son took his own life today. It’s so tragic, such a waste and naturally his family are devastated. A reminder to lads having a hard time to get help or talk to a mate. This is never the right answer. Ever.

Bullshit. Someone earning £60k or even £100k are so burdened with other taxes that their take home pay is a small fraction of their annual earnings. Stop punishing people for being moderately successful like they have committed some kind of crime. The only regressive idea is deincentivising people to work hard and try to be financially stable.

Student loans should be interest free or close to it. Pay over £1k a month in student loans for undergrad and postgrad and not making a dent in the interest. Disgraceful from @SF_England punishing people for doing exactly what they went to uni to do.

@premierleague and @UEFAcom can someone make a statement addressing the following. The accusation is that the current PSR and SCR rules are ANTI-COMPETITIVE and are designed to ensure a continuation of the status quo preventing teams like @AVFCOfficial and @NUFC from competing in the long and short term. We have deep pockets and no debt but are not allowed to spend! Both Villa and Newcastle have been in Europe consistently over the last few years but just don’t have the revenue to adhere to these rules whilst remaining competitive. The only way to bolster revenue (like Man City did when they were tin pot) is to spend and win. It’s baffling that no one has put the Premier League before the CMA to defend these rules. @AVFCOfficial I would contribute to a CMA case against the premier league for free.

How do you let Malen go whilst Guessand and Watkins are still at the club? And if you do how do you let Malen go before you have a replacement? Fuck PSR we need to go and get some players to bolster the squad.
