In Afghanistan, 1 woman dies in childbirth every 2 hours. 4 in 10 babies won’t live to see their 1st birthday. Most of these deaths are preventable. Supporting BirthAid means providing safe childbirth education, trained birth attendants and critical prenatal and pediatric care.

When babies with severe acute malnutrition make it to our clinics in time, nearly 90% recover. That number isn't luck — it's what happens when someone acts. Right now, little ones across Sub-Saharan Africa are running out of time. Your support helps make sure they don't.
