@deliharrr He wants to improve, but also, "needing improvement" as the Red Dot got him boxed up and almost replaced. I think he's stuck between wanting to do better and being terrified to hear he's not perfect.

This scene says so much to me because Caine is literally the one who asked Jax about adventures. It’s something he wants to hear the answer to. Something he cares about but he still interrupts it. The reason he doesn’t listen isn’t even cuz he doesn’t care, it’s just… because.

@prostKira Ppl are mad at Caine for this, but hear me out. Caine wants this intel, but also can't handle knowing he's doing things wrong. We've already been shown that he thinks "suggestions" means he's failing. His desires are in complete conflict, but that's a well written character imo.

I got the impression that Jax actually was going to answer Caine's question and I find it kinda cute
