The largest petrochemical centre in Europe was in Teesside with international investors and operators. All of the UK petrochemical companies were there too. Private businesses. They didnโ€™t require subsidies, but paid for power and steel and other commodities at market rates, accounting for 100,000+ quality UK jobs across the supply chain and playing a major part in UK exports. Anything associated with the โ€œNorthโ€ of England, never mind the IMF restrictions, which funds were propping up underperforming nationalised industries like British Steel, were โ€œtarred with the same brushโ€ as mining and the โ€œWar on the Unionsโ€. The vast majority of British heavy industry was dismantled by the 1990โ€™s. Communities and countries become less vibrant when there are no jobs for skilled craftsmen to do, processing local, natural resources. What Lady Thatcher did was deeply shortsighted. Blair however, with very different intentions to Lady Thatcher, saw an opportunity to tie the UK forever to the scrofulous international institutions, undermining UK sovereignty at every step, leading us into this terminal downward spiral of lowest common denominator thinking resulting in a miasma of mediocrity. If the UK doesnโ€™t reindustrialise and reclaim its sovereignty both externally and internally economically it will be finished in the early 2030โ€™s and culturally by the early 2040โ€™s.

ironically one of my favorite Chuck Norris fights wasnโ€™t in Way of the Dragon but in the 2000โ€™s sitcom Yes, Dear where he shadows Jimmy but when Jimmy decides to cut ties because Chuck is just a normal guy, Chuck hilariously gets the opportunity to show his badassery. RIP. OSU!๐Ÿฅ‹

You absolute fucking idiots. The General was right, and your collective meltdown exposes everything that's rotten in your understanding of duty, hierarchy, and the brutal realities of command. In the profession of arms, the chain of command isn't a polite suggestion or a partisan speed dial to Congress. It is the iron backbone that turns a mob of armed men into a disciplined force capable of projecting lethal power across the globe without dissolving into mutiny or hesitation the moment bullets fly. President as Commander-in-Chief under Article II. Secretary of War. Combatant Commander. Down to the last private with boots on the ground. That is the sacred hierarchy enshrined in the Goldwater-Nichols Act, the Uniform Code of Military Justice...Articles 90, 92, 133...and two and a half centuries of blood-earned wisdom from Normandy to Fallujah to the current Iran ops. Congress has the power of the purse and the constitutional authority to declare war...when they bother to do their goddamn jobs instead of grandstanding for clips...but they sit deliberately outside that operational chain for a reason. They are not military. They are civilians. Politicians. Turning generals into congressional snitches would be the fastest path to destroying good order and discipline since Caligula made his horse a senator. If an order is manifestly unlawful...clear war crimes, not some activist-lawyer fever dream cooked up to kneecap a President you hate...the duty is crystal under UCMJ and DoD directives: refuse it, seek JAG counsel, report it ruthlessly up the chain through IG channels to the Commander-in-Chief himself. Not leaking to the Senate like some treasonous little shit stirring drama for cable news hits. The General's answer wasn't evasion. It was textbook integrity. Professional steel forged in the crucible of real command. He refused to pledge allegiance to legislative theater over lawful authority, and every military mind with actual skin in the game knows why: break that chain, and you don't have an armed forces anymore...you have a politicized clusterfuck, paralyzed by second-guessing, ripe for collapse when the enemy exploits the fracture. Warren's little ambush was never about oversight or the Constitution. It was pure psychological warfare, insidious and calculated...the same divide-and-conquer poison every weak institution-slayer deploys to erode loyalty from within. Seed doubt in the ranks. Fracture the unbreakable bond between warrior and command. Turn soldiers into political operatives who hesitate in the moment lethal force is required, because now every order comes with a Senate subpoena hanging over it. That's not "defending democracy." That's the malignant tactic of those who fear a strong executive enforcing the will of the voters they despise. These blue-check pussies and congressional parasites who've never worn the uniform, never carried the weight of sending men to die, never felt the visceral psychology of command cohesion...they screech "frightening!" and "concerning!" because they desperately crave the military as their private enforcement arm against outcomes they can't control. Pathetic. Projection at its most venomous. The profound truth, the one that cuts like a bayonet through this partisan fog: armies that let outsiders bypass the chain become praetorian guards for whoever holds the microphone or the deepest pockets. Ours endures precisely because leaders like this General understand that true loyalty to the Constitution flows through disciplined, lawful channels, not through narcissistic oversight porn orchestrated by a Massachusetts socialist who couldn't command respect in a fucking kindergarten class, let alone a rifle platoon under fire. He was right. Full stop. You are wrong. And your frothing stupidity reveals exactly why the Republic's guardians answer to the elected Commander-in-Chief, not to the permanent bureaucracy's lapdogs. ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ๐Ÿ’€โš–๏ธ

I just heard the astonishing exchange between @_ConnieShaw and Matthew Wright I wonโ€™t unpack the specifics of his ignorance about Islam. Listen below and youโ€™ll see What I will describe is the sheer terror and panic in his behaviour. His sleight of hand, misdirection, slanders and personal attacks had every hallmark of an institution trying to shut down a whistleblower And that is the problem There is a whole class of cultural gatekeepers who have been groomed to protect the institution of Islam and Islamism from sunlight being shone on its malevolent content and intentions This is absolutely Muslim Brotherhood strategy and their goal is - quite openly - to take over the world From conflating Islam with race to pushing the mantra that Islam is a religion of peace - these are acts of camouflage to conceal Islamismโ€™s malevolent intent and to turn useful idiots like Matthew into guardians of theocracy and totalitarianism whilst falsely believing they are agents of virtue Matthew also suffers from deep cultural bias He has been shaped by a Disneyfied West that mistakenly taught us that deep down weโ€™re all the same and that we all want to hold hands and get along But this is never the case with totalitarian, revolutionary movements - from Nazism to communism to Islamism Matthew lacks the empathy to conceptualise that different cultures see the world differently to him Not all religions are the same They have specific ideas, personalities, myths and history that are very different - and these differences lead to different goals, intentions, outcomes and behaviour It is a form of cultural imperialism and racism when Matthew projects his world view onto muslims and doesnโ€™t listen to what they actually say in their own words But more than that, it is an act of cultural suicide that would have us all pushed off the cliff with him It is imperative that people continue to fight for their right to speak openly - and in whatever tone of their choosing - about the set of medieval ideas that go under the name of Islam

Matthew Wright proves our point on LBC this morning. The official definition of Islamophobia โ€” now repackaged as โ€œanti-Muslim hostilityโ€ โ€” is already silencing legitimate debate and criticism of Islam and its practices. It amounts to a de facto Muslim blasphemy law. The treatment of Nick Timothy by Labour MPs is deeply sinister. The Shadow Justice Secretary criticised mass Muslim prayer in Trafalgar Square, was reported to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, branded โ€œIslamophobicโ€, and faced calls to resign from Labour MPs and even the Prime Minister. This morning, FSU External Affairs Officer @_ConnieShaw was invited on to discuss the comments made by Nick Timothy. Matthew Wright didnโ€™t want to hear it. After the interview, he told another guest he had โ€œclosed her downโ€ because she was โ€œputting out anti-Muslim hatredโ€. Farcical. In a crowded field, Matthew is this weekโ€™s runner up as for chief enforcer of the blasphemy law this week. ๐Ÿ‘
