Tesla FSD is nothing short of magic. Just rented a Cybertruck, picked it up at the airport and it drove us directly to the Airbnb. None of the stress of a new city, new roads, new car. Had it for 5 days and never drove myself. It drove perfectly. So easy and liberating

Hey @elonmusk, I put down a reservation on a Cybertruck immediately after you revealed it in 2019, locking in the FSD price. Is @Tesla going to honour that offer to lock in FSD pricing when @cybertruck finally makes it to Australia? 🇦🇺

No jerks, no side-to-side. Beautifully smooth. It f**king pulled into the parking lot and backed itself into a parking spot. And then it drove us all the way back to San Francisco; This is door to door amazing. Couldn't believe it."

@colster6000 @RichardSndor The fundamental issue right now is lack of communication about these issues, to long term customers. Plenty of funds going to advertisements and lining up happy influencers to spruik new car sales. No resource directed to respecting and communicating to existing customer base.

@RichardSndor @simonhackett Your priority for FSD (fairness to HW3 owners) is different to Teslas (prioritise development of FSD to be as good as it can be as fast as possible). I understand your POV but I disagree they should hold back new versions once they are ready. I hope V12 is out for HW3 Aus soon!

“Thank you for your loyalty”? Gah. After 8+ years on multiple cars, how about just delivering me the outcome I pre-paid for, on the cars I paid for it to be on…and at least tell me *when* you’ll be doing the HW4 hardware update to make it happen, because FSD clearly needs it…

@colster6000 @RichardSndor We just need @TeslaAUNZ to make a statement to paying customers, vs our collective guesswork and imagination about what they *might* be thinking/doing. Meantime the only public comms is national airport advertising for FSD(S) being here now. Except for where it isn’t …

@RichardSndor @simonhackett Because it takes time, money and resources to create a new version, so why create a V12 for Aus rather than V13? I expect they are actively working on a V13 for HW3 in Aus so it should maybe be a matter of months before it is released now?

@colster6000 @RichardSndor I drove a HW3 vehicle with FSD-Supervised in the USA last year.
The commitment we paid for was for Full Self Driving (not ‘supervised’). The commitment for that included any necessary hardware updates.
Right now the air is full of the smell of burning bridges. No communication.

@colster6000 @RichardSndor All of which may be technically interesting, but the reality is that there is a broken commitment that needs fixing. I don’t mind how they fix it, but they need to fix it. Upgrading vehicle hardware is the obvious way.

@simonhackett I bought FSD with my 2019 Model 3, but haven't seen this email yet. Any idea which of your vehicles it relates to? If you bought FSD for an older S or X it might be harder for Tesla to retrofit than a 3, maybe.

Now. They can afford it, we pre paid for that upgrade a lot of years ago.
