Now that I have (re)started #BeyondtheGates, I have noticed how rich the sets are, the wardrobe, hair, and the overall look of the show. How come that show can look like that, yet #YR looks the way it does? Their sets look cheap. Their set and actors' budget must be LOW.

Charlie and Mattie are in or out of college. Someone also mentioned that all of their stories are off-screen, too. #YR

We have the old and restless, but we haven't had a young/teen story for a while, besides off-screen Connor dealing with OCD. I remember when Bill Bell wrote, we had teen topical stories every summer. RIP Bill, you are greatly missed. #YR

@Butterfield6 @mattlupo3 Oh, the kidnappings. Cameron (?), Martin and then Matt - all within a year! I also hate that they gave her a degree in psychology, and she ends up dishing out advice in between serving coffee.

@mattlupo3 @soapsignal Both characters were far more interesting when they were together, both romantically and professionally. Adam's not the only character poorly written, a lot of others are too. Sharon I'll always love, but man, so sick of her getting kidnapped every 4 months.

#YR - When will Adam get his spunk back? They write Mark so one note and boring.

#YR - Michelle Stafford needs a vacation. Phyllis has been on damn near every day since these business stories started LAST summer/fall.

#YR - All this Summer talk for the last year, when are they going to cast her? All her stories have been off-screen.

I am tired of the Audra actress being used the way she has for the last, what, three years? She deserves a well written story and maybe a family member. She has had failed relationships and bounced from company to company; but no substance. Send Sienna back to LA, recast Noah then put him with Audra. There, fixed.

@mattlupo3 @soapsignal The only thing that holds Adam and Chelsea together is Connor, all it is. At this stage, I'd even welcome Adam sleeping with Audra - she's another actress who is totally wasted on that show.

@Butterfield6 @mattlupo3 B-O-R-I-N-G! And that awful OCD story. They treated that like he was dying of some disease. No offense to people who struggle with OCD, but, again, the writing is/was just terrible there.

@mattlupo3 @soapsignal Considering he dated Sharon Case and Courtney Hope in real life, yep, the chemistry is still obvious even in the occasional scene Adam has with Sharon or Sally. In comparison, he and MCE are just boring together on screen.

@ESTSprina4Ever @soapsignal I know that the powers that be are really doing the bare minimum with their characters who are people of color or LQTBIA on GH. Diversity and inclusion are valued by the powers that be on Beyond The Gates.

#BeyondtheGates - It’s hard to start a new soap late in the game. There are so many characters at this event with so many backstories to learn.

@soapsignal Overall it’s a great show though!! Main reason I started watching live tv again. Season 1 episode 1 is one of my favorite episodes!! It really set the tone
