I've enjoyed the on ball growth, but part of me always wonders what the growth trajectory would've looked like if he was drafted to a team like GSW. (+Maybe better defensive impact under less offensive load?) B/c the split actions with Franz + shooters could've been a nightmare.

This is my favorite Franz Wagner playtype (Backscreen into offball cuts) It's also the biggest reason I think he can be impactful in a more spacing oriented environment despite not being a good 3PT shooter himself A perfect counter to a spaced out modern defense imo

I have the Pistons in 6, so I was confused about why people thought this would be a lopsided series. Orlando has the size/physicality/athleticism to match up, and if they can limit turnovers and keep Detroit off the offensive glass, they have pathways to an upset.

Jordan Goodwin is probably one of the players who symbolizes the new league trend(Possession battle) He debuted as a PG, but these days he seems like a Forward who is good at Crashing Oreb/Steal and playing Bigger/longer than his actual size.

I love 3PT maxing + OREB crashing as much as anyone, but I still think that at a certain point, volume creation under physical pressure matters, esp in the postseason. Yes Orlando is shooting at an unsustainable pace, but the bigger story so far is the Hornets' offensive process

I'll finish here, and like I said, this isn't really an argument. I don't necessarily disagree with all other opinions on this - and prob won't spend any more time. But I just thought some context was needed for the original tweet, as a counter point to consider.

but at the same time, I don't think it's advisable to just dismiss one side. It's less about the minutes itself, but the implications that a scheme specific role holds. The original point was more about accounting for the general nuanced differences in terms of environment.
