Every team has its weaknesses - I'm not trying to make too much of it with Detroit either. I still have them winning the series. It's more of a point to keep an eye on - how opposing teams attempt to exploit the weak links, and how Detroit reacts from here.

I do think most of this is fixable for Detroit going forward in this series. Yet, my biggest question is: for a team built on defense, what do you make of the exploitable weaknesses? - The awareness lapses from Duren/Harris/etc. - Lack of size/interior D presence from wing play

Apart from Detroit not being able to dictate the possession battle, I think the biggest point from game 1 was Orlando's offense against the Pistons loading up. More specifically - how the Magic navigated Duren's positioning and took advantage of the low man. A few examples -

I've enjoyed the on ball growth, but part of me always wonders what the growth trajectory would've looked like if he was drafted to a team like GSW. (+Maybe better defensive impact under less offensive load?) B/c the split actions with Franz + shooters could've been a nightmare.

This is my favorite Franz Wagner playtype (Backscreen into offball cuts) It's also the biggest reason I think he can be impactful in a more spacing oriented environment despite not being a good 3PT shooter himself A perfect counter to a spaced out modern defense imo

I have the Pistons in 6, so I was confused about why people thought this would be a lopsided series. Orlando has the size/physicality/athleticism to match up, and if they can limit turnovers and keep Detroit off the offensive glass, they have pathways to an upset.

@polarfall A 9.4 OREB% along with 3.3 STL% is a crazy profile for a 6-3 player

Jordan Goodwin is probably one of the players who symbolizes the new league trend(Possession battle) He debuted as a PG, but these days he seems like a Forward who is good at Crashing Oreb/Steal and playing Bigger/longer than his actual size.

I love 3PT maxing + OREB crashing as much as anyone, but I still think that at a certain point, volume creation under physical pressure matters, esp in the postseason. Yes Orlando is shooting at an unsustainable pace, but the bigger story so far is the Hornets' offensive process

Lots of people have a knee that looks like this, especially athletes. And it’s telling you something that could be important about your knee and foot mechanics. Here’s what you need to know and what you can do 👇

So OKC can get one of DP/Boozer/AJ in 5.1% possibility. (via 12th LAC pick rights) (1st:1.5%, 2nd : 1.7% , 3rd : 1.9%) wow.

I swear I might do unspeakable things if OKC somehow runs away with another Top 3 pick

My takeaway from this game was that I didn’t enjoy the defensive process from the 76ers but the best defense was the Magic’s offense

This is a genuine question out of pure curiosity: Is there a NBA player who fumbles the ball than Paolo Banchero?
