I don't think this is fair. Dykes has had some big moments for Scotland and always works his ass off. In a squad of 26, I think also it's valid to bring along one or two players purely because they are good characters and improve morale and Dykes absolutely fits that role

I fully support bringing Dykes to the World Cup just for the vibes he brings, but he just doesn't offer enough on the pitch for Scotland now. If we're going to have to go direct and put hopeful crosses into the box then McBurnie would be a much better option
