@triffic_stuff_ So just to be clear, my bank can shut my account without any right of reply or appeal. But I could potentially be an MP/civil servant/minister and have a terrorist past?

🚨SHAMBOLIC: Cabinet Office Minister Nick Thomas-Symonds caught FLAT-FOOTED on live TV over security vetting chaos!
Victoria Derbyshire hits him with the killer question on Newsnight:
“How many other people are working for your government without getting UK security vetting clearance?”
Thomas-Symonds stammers:
“I would sincerely hope that there are none”… but admits the government will have to “absolutely” find out.
He HOPES?! 🤦♂️
So the man responsible for the Cabinet Office has zero clue if uncleared individuals are roaming sensitive government roles.
Derbyshire presses:
“The point is you don’t know… would the Prime Minister even know?”
Cue the awkward stumble. He basically admits he has no idea, and neither does Starmer, by the sound of it.
She sums it up perfectly:
“What you’re telling me is there could potentially be other people working for the government that haven’t had UK security vetting clearance.”
This isn’t just embarrassing, it’s a national security red alert.
After the Peter Mandelson vetting fiasco (where advice to deny clearance was apparently ignored or hidden), this exchange exposes a government in total disarray on basic vetting protocols.
This MUST be put straight to Keir Starmer immediately.
How many more risks are lurking in Whitehall? What a mess!

🚨 Starmer Announces Bold Mission to Reopen Strait of Hormuz… After Iran and Trump Just Declared It Open
Starmer's masterplan: “We will lead a multinational mission to open the Strait of Hormuz.”
Iran & Trump just announced it's already fully open today 😂
Brilliant timing, Keir. The ships are sailing while you're still scheduling the planning meeting. 🤡

@2147mill Purchasing a pure BTC treasury should give you 1:1 BTC performance, buying a BTC miner will give you better than 1:1 over time. Compound the price performance at the same time as increasing the exposure - @SterlingASIC a UK listed company that mines cheap BTC

Things I don't have to worry about as an Australian
*Being shot by an ICE agent
*Being shot in a mall
*Being shot in a school
*Being shot in park
*Being shot in a church
*Losing everything to pay medical bills
*My Prime Minister being an insurrectionist, draft dodging coward, 34 times convicted felon, sex offender, or being in the Epstein files.

@JamesMelville This is true, but Norway is in a unique position in that it is able to sell all, or almost all, of its oil production, their domestic electricity needs are more than provided for by their large Hydro power generation. Thus they can funnel hydrocarbon revenues into a SWF

@craigkellyAFEE As a matter of interest to go where? I’m of the same opinion, just can’t see anywhere else that offers the opposite

I had a sad conversation with a good friend over Christmas. He has reached the conclusion that Australia is in terminal decline; economically, socially, and morally.
And with Labor using migration to gerrymandering the electorate, the growing bureaucracy strangling freedoms, the increasing crime rates, the Net Zero insanity, our schools turned into Marxist indoctrination camps, and a billion dollar government propaganda machine in ABC - that there is no way out.
So he is putting his home on the market at the end of January and is leaving Australia.

@TrisOsborneMP @Conservatives No it doesn’t you ignoramus. Prices aren’t “easing” for anyone. You really are a fool
English

Very welcome news on inflation showing a marked decrease which will ease prices for consumers and business.
It is way below the 11.5% peaks we saw under the Sunak @Conservatives when country entered a recession.
Its means better value for the money in your pocket. ✅

@owenjonesjourno You’re a naive moron, good luck being a homo when this country becomes an Islamic state thanks to your foolish activism, Twat.

Opponents of immigration should start to panic.
They claimed that immigration is the cause of our problems.
Falling immigration with our current economic model means less growth.
So when people's living standards flatline and public services struggle, who will they blame?
Paul Brand@PaulBrandITV
NEW: Net migration to the UK fell significantly to 204,000 in the year to June. That’s down from 649,000 in the year to June 2024 - a fall of around two-thirds.
