@Kitkat_1216 @SultansOfSteep @IARadioMan @IAWild The ability to look at 3d space and perspective like this is PHENOMENAL. I've been drawing all my life, and I still struggle to do perspective this well! Keep it up dude! You're doing awesome!

My son is Autistic, and he is obsessed with hockey arenas, not hockey, hockey arenas. He wants to visit one every weekend, then comes and draws them for hours at home. If anyone has pics of hockey rinks please share, and supply the name. It would make my 5 year old so happy!

@WhiteWeather_ Good luck. Those are some rough classes. If you get a good teacher it makes all the difference though.

@PappenheimWx Was in Stillwater OK. I watched my family in the Tulsa area almost get hit by the tornado that hit near Sand springs and further into North Tulsa. It made a northern turn but for a solid minute I was concerned.

A total of 2,002 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have already been issued this year from January 1st through March 27th. On average, the U.S. sees around 30,000 to 40,000 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings per year, and with over 2,000 warnings already issued by late March this puts 2026 on solid pace for an average to above average year! Have you been under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning this year? If so drop a comment and tell me your experience!

@JordanHallWX Props are terrifying (especially with the big drones). Coming from someone who works on drones for a living right now, props are not something you want to mess with. I'm so glad you're safe and nothing worse happened!

I am watching Friday, April 3rd as a potential significant severe weather day, with all hazards in play including tornadoes. There is now growing agreement amongst models on a shortwave ejaculating into the Plains. However, there is still considerable uncertainty in the evolution of the trough, specifically its placement, and timing, leading to lower confidence at this time. Multiple additional severe weather days will likely occur both before and after the 3rd, but as of now, Friday appears to be the most favorable setup!

A wild front is slamming the Midwest this Thursday. Chicago will see temperatures crash from the 80s to the 40s in hours. This massive drop brings a serious threat of severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and potential tornadoes. Stay weather aware.

This is a good reminder that even though it's quiet now, it's always important to be weather aware this time of year. We're quickly approaching April - our busiest month for tornadoes, especially strong tornadoes (EF2+). 1950-2025 April strong tornadoes (EF2+) are plotted here and you can easily see the historical hotspots. Pulaski, Faulkner, and Lonoke counties lead the way with northeast Arkansas a close second. Little Rock is one of the most tornado prone metro areas in the entire US. Pulaski and Lonoke counties are top 10 nationally when calculating tornadoes by path length. Southwest Arkansas has gone a long time without a major tornado event, but historically they have had some large long track tornadoes in the month of April! Our goal this spring is to bring you tornado coverage that is easy to understand and easy to access. When our weather turns bad again, Arkansas Weather Network will be here! @TornadoCoaching Oklahoma. Never been chasing, I just live here. I'm staying a storm spotter for now. When I think a storm will convect around my area, it doesn't, so the spotting hasn't been very successful.

When thunder roars, go indoors! 🌩️ Did you know that no outdoor location is safe during a thunderstorm? If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Seek shelter in a sturdy building or a hard-topped vehicle immediately.

THERE IT IS! As we have discussed, a favorable pattern for southern Plains severe weather may open up at the very end of March into April! The Gulf will be open for business with a trough-ridge pattern from west-to-east across North America. We are rushing to complete the new live streaming setup on the Dominator 3 in time for peak season. There is strong long-range forecast model ensemble support for this pattern shift

What a HORRIBLE forecast by meteorologists – especially myself. Not only were we spectacularly wrong – we communicated poorly. It became apparent last night that some of our initial expectations would prove fallacious. I'd like to address what went wrong with our forecast:
