just drew a picture of my dog tyson. i'm not really a fan of colouring in drawings i do. i usually just scribble things. it started out as a black and white scribble, but i decided to give it some life. this is my first attempt at drawing him so please don't be too harsh on me 😂

some thoughts about turning 6 months sober in a few days. i have worries. in time i hope i can change this mindset entirely. the habit of being so self critical began when i was a child, so trying to rewire my brain is taking a long, long time. but i'll get there. #recoveryposse

@street_trashed I work at a Kenworth dealership, and I'm thinking of how to integrate our logo along with flames, skulls, the American flag, and an 18 wheeler. So not too complicated 😂

was just about to sit and draw a picture of my dog, because sleep isn't going to happen tonight. and suddenly my left hand is in agony. sharp stabbing pains through the wrist/fingers for absolutely no reason. guess who is left handed? 🙄 well that idea is now out the window.

this is a reply to a post where i mentioned my horror movie collection/themed room & it's really pissed me off 😂 just don't comment if you don't like them. no need to insult someone's harmless taste in films. horror films are such a massive part of my life. they make me happy 😭

@TwistedConcept i've never been asked really! only by my nephew haha. he will name some obscure dinosaur from the latest films and i have no idea what he means so i have to look them up 😂 i think i'd be really self conscious about trying to draw something someone properly asked me to do 🙈

@iamswansongz yeah. it always starts in the joints, but it then can affect the entire bloody limbs. so there is talks of it being fibromyalgia on top of the arthritis. gotta see the rheumatologist about it. so that'll be fun. another health condition to add to the list.

@iamswansongz wrist and knuckles are affected. it can happen in both hands. both legs/feet, too. and hips.

@LadukeCharlotte ah thank you! you too. i was just saying to mark yesterday how grateful i am to not wake up hungover anymore. i think the last few years of my alcoholism was just one constant hangover. feeling so miserable and sluggish 24/7. it was not good, and it is definitely not missed.

@PeterSavag37141 i used to stream when i was playing video games, but this was about 8 years ago and i was always drunk. i'd never have the confidence sober. i'd like to do it again, but i would have to find some self esteem first. that may take a while 😂

i've been messing around with the PC today and set it up so i can stream video games on twitch again. i've just started playing SOMA because i am forever hearing how brilliant, scary and bleak it is. sounds exactly like the thing i go for 😂 i might stream it then. not sure yet.

@PeterSavag37141 ahhh i have a tablet, but it is broken! i loved it (when it worked 😂) maybe in the future i'll be able to afford another one. my mum uses hers a lot to do paint by number sort of stuff. well, she used to. now she does colouring in in actual books. i enjoy that, too.

@street_trashed keep the pain minimal. They really are very versatile.

i want something to draw but i never know what. and i don't know if my arthritis hands will let me do anything too detailed now. i am stuck on what to doodle. usually i draw dinosaurs for my nephew 😂

look at how cool these are 🥺 and i have no idea where to hang them. the living room has become my horror movie collection comfort zone due to my insomnia. i spend 90% of my time in here because i barely sleep. so making it look like the "kelly themed" room had to happen 😂

@joypainlife jeez! and i was complaining of a literal pin prick on my finger 😂 but to be fair it bled like a motherfucker. all over the floor 😩

@street_trashed Something similar happened to me, tried opening a can of soup. The aluminum flexed and jabbed me in the finger. Seven stitches after staunching the blood, and an earful from work insurance over the phone about not going to the hospital across the city from me for treatment. :/

was cooking dinner for me & my partner. a glass smashed on the floor around me. tried cleaning it as i was keeping an eye on the stir fry in the pan. cut myself. blood everywhere. panicked. trying to clean that & not burn the house down was a struggle. i'm not housewife material.
