🧠😯 Trevor Wittman breaks down the moment Justin Gaethje rocked Ilia Topuria. He says the important part was Justin stepping on the outside of Ilia’s rear foot to find the angle “Justin’s left foot, when we go, has to be outside [Ilia’s] rear foot.” (via JRE MMA Show)

🚨 Justin Gaethje does NOT plan on retiring yet, but says Ilia Topuria can't be his next opponent "Right now I'm planning on [fighting again]. There's not something natural in me that feels like it's over. [Ilia] doesn't get a rematch. He can try but he doesn't get one. He quit on the stool, I stopped him twice, what else do I have to do? His next challenge can't be me. He needs to fight Paddy or someone like that." (via @joerogan)

Justin Gaethje warned Ilia Topuria that his expectations could become a problem if the fight went into the later rounds: "It's such an asset to tell someone the brutal truth. Especially someone like him because it pushes them father away from the truth. [I said] 'you're making a mistake by having all these expectations. When we go to round 2 and round 3 then where do you go from there?' I said that exact thing to him, and that pushed him farther away from it. He wanted to prove himself right." (via @joerogan)

👀Justin Gaethje says Ilia Topuria Would've Been Extremely Disrespectful After a Victory and could not let it happen. "Just want people to understand how disrespectful he would have been if he had beaten me—if he had put me to sleep. I mean, can you imagine how unbearable he would have been? I was fighting for so much that night. I was fighting for everything." via: @joerogan

Justin Gaethje says Ilia Topuria wanted to quit after the third round: "He wanted out. You do not EVER as a fighter say 'I can't see'. He was counting on that. I stopped him twice that night." (via @joerogan)
