Platner likely will probably win at the end of the day, yeah, but it’s going to be way too close for comfort. I’m assuming oppo research will only ramp up after the primaries when dems have to stick with Platner.

The key difference with comparing elections like Tester or Brown in 24’ to Maine this year is Republicans, despite Moreno at least being a subpar candidate, still did not run candidates on this level of bad.

If Hennrich actually primaries MGP (I doubt it, though he could get close like we've seen with many incumbents this cycle), alongside Kent not poisoning the ticket, I think it'd be fair to move this district to Tilt D/Tossup.

As a Londonder who moved to USA and lived in the Northeast and the west coast, I have noticed a HUGE intelligence gap between the 2 In New England / New York people are much more cultured, self aware and mindful of other people. In California many more self centered, conflict driven people who find it hard to step out of their own worldview. I wonder if university culture plays a part in this.

Any credible political pundit would tell you Clyburn has serious sway as the only Democratic rep. from SC. Not sure why you're opposing this.

Not sure if Virginia is completely likely to redistrict just yet, or if it will pass, but it will 100% be necessary if the Democrats don't want 2028 redistricting to end up like this year (pretty decent R advantage).

Seems to be shaping up to be a 6-32 map (2020) & a 5-33 map (2024). A +4 and +3 improvement compared to the current gerrymander.
