In this case Vetting is a deep dive background check to minimize citizenship fraud because other Africans in fear of xenophobia might claim to be Ghanaians too and though we’re all part of the African community, for now, we’re prioritizing our citizens. This is a polite response on the assumption that you didn’t know what vetting seeks to achieve.

@techiebaabe @shibe_tshibe @S_OkudzetoAblak Look at what South Africans had to do for them to go. Without the protests, they would be still here illegally. I guess it’s a necessary “evil”

The hardest working minister at the moment must be Ablakwa cos the way this guy takes issues concerning Ghanaians abroad seriously is impressive. South Africans will regret how they treated us in their country.

Ghana prepares a welcome relief package at Accra International Airport for the first batch of 300 Ghanaians being evacuated from South Africa. The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has bagged food and non-food items to temporarily support the evacuees upon arrival. A comprehensive government reintegration package expected to cover financial assistance will follow next. 🎥 @The1957News

@xghana_ @ZiyaMadlakes Only 10 of them had valid documents to stay in South Africa. There’s one who stayed for 21 years illegally while he ran away from his family back in Ghana, will the government protect him from his family?
